    Hi Team

can we add the same collector in two MOMs?

I have created two MOMs one on windows and one on Linux and had updated the following settings for failover on both MOMs:-

    1. enterprisemanager.failover.enable=true

This property enables failover by default its set to false

    1. enterprisemanager.failover.primary=myhost1

This property allows you to set the hostname or IP address of the primary Enterprise Manager.

    1. enterprisemanager.failover.secondary=myhost2

This property allows you to set the hostname or IP address of the secondary Enterprise Manager

    1. enterprisemanager.failover.interval=120

This property allows you to set in seconds how often a running secondary Enterprise Manager checks to see if a primary Enterprise Manager is waiting to start.

How can we know that my MOMs are ready for failover?

    Thanks

You can't configure a collector with 2 moms and that is the only way to enable HA for the MOMs.

Use Enterprise Manager Failover - CA Application Performance Management - 10.7 - CA Technologies Documentation
