Hi,

We are trying to change the SMTP server in CA spectrum for mail notification.

Have used the mail command to set the new smtp server. Also changed the smtp server IP in oneclick web console.

When we check in the registry it is pointing to the new smtp server. Please find the attachement fo reference.

But when we check the source smtp server in the mail notification sent from Spectrum it is still pointing to the old smtp server and not the new one we configured.

Could you please help us where we are missing the configuration so that we can fix this. Thanks

Already restarted the server. Its not taking new smtp server.

Are you receiving or not emails from Spectrum? Cause if you are, then the mail notification works, obviously.

Mail notification is coming. But in the mail notification if we check the source of the mail it is coming via old smtp server and not via new smtp server updated.

This problem is resolved.

alarm.notifier process was running in an admin login. In that login if we run the mail command with the new SMTP server values then it is working fine. Thanks.

So restart, as I said initially.
