  • 1.  Can anyone help me with back-out plan for relesed AE 11.3.6 SP7.

    Hello,

    I have downloaded SP7 and preparing for installation in Production environment. I need your help with back-out plan if any issue comes during installation.

    many times the upgrade has one documented. HOWEVER, how you set up for a backout depends on the company you work. what infrastructure etc.

    if you are the autosys admin you know your firm far better than any one of us.

    OS + DB backups, before the upgrade.
    If the upgrade goes south, slap those backups back on there.

    Thanks Tomasz. This is what we will do before upgrade. Is it possible to uninstall newly service pack SP7 if anything goes wrong?

    Never saw anything about that in any official CA documentation.
    Their official stance seems to be to go with the backup/restore.

    There was a cumulative 1 released for AE 11.3.6 SP7. I think you will want to include it if you haven’t already.
