  • 1.  How to disable fault isolation for some devices.

    Hi,

     

    We have a some network devices for which CC camera is attached to the device Ethernet port. Our requirement is

     

    1. When the interface goes down, we get critical alarm on interface and camera down alarm will be suppressed. Our requirement is to get both interface down alarm & Camera Down alarm.

    2. We have deleted the interface connection with camera from spectrum topology tab. During next poll, we see the connection is getting established.

     

    Kindly let us know is there any possibility to achieve this.

    Hi Vishnu,

     

    I don´t see an easy way to do this in Spectrum as Fault Isolation is set on the VNM as a per landscape basis.  Unless you are willing to create another DSS landscape and move these devices onto that landscape.
