  • 1.  Currency Code Field not available to configure in new UI

    HI,

     

    I am facing issues in adding Currency Code field in Blue Print. The field does not come up in the List to add.

    Can anyone please advise here?

    I just went through document, It says Currency code is not available to configure.

    I'm so sorry API attribute ID assignment is not yet available for the following fields.... to bring them into the CA Clarity PPM New UX.

    The following project attributes are not available to appear on the blueprint Fields list:

    • % Complete Calculation Method     
    • Actual Cost     
    • Approved
    • Blueprint Active ID     
    • Budgeted Capital Cost     
    • Budgeted Cost Finish (date)    
    • Budgeted Cost Start (date)     
    • Budgeted Cost Total     
    • Budgeted Operating Cost    
    • Currency Code        
    • EAC Sum for Labor Resources    
    • ETC Sum for Labor Resources     
    • Investments Using     
    • Last Used    
    • Page Layout
    • Planned Cost Total    
    • Priority   
    • Progress
    • Project Category
    • Status
    • Template

     

    But I will say this, after a few anonymous feedback forms we might get once or twice a year suggest a credible reason to justify displeasure with the docs, it is a delight for us to see they did address the question, even though the answer was that Currency Code could not yet be added. Searching and browsing docops is a great way to find answers about the product features. Stayed tuned... I cannot disclose any forward looking statements about exactly what or when, but I can tell you we have API improvements on our radar.

    Hi Divya,

    I asked around and learned that "customers will want to use the default entity currency which drives the currency code for the project." -- The default Financial Entity, that is. See Set Up a Financial Entity - CA PPM SaaS - 15.5.1 - CA Technologies Documentation.
