  • 1.  Copy task from template, access right issue

    CA PPM SasS 15:5

     

    The user has got the below access rights but when the user select Tasks-> Actions->Copy tasks from template from existing project, get "Error 401 - unauthorized"

     

    Project - Create

    Project - Create from Template

     

    The user is  the PM for both "Copy from " and "Copy To" projects.

     

    Is there any specific access rights required for this activity?

    Hi Venkita, 

     

    Do the tasks that the PM is trying to copy from one project to another have assignments? If so, the PM would need booking rights over that resource/role so that the resource/role can be added to the team and task assignments on the new project during the copy.

    Thanks Maria.  You are absolutely right.  The PM did not have access rights when the tasks had assignments
