Rally Software

We migrated all of our data from one workspace to another.  In the new workspace, we had a custom field that showed the old User Story number, but I can't remember how to search for that number.  If I just put in US1234, I get the wrong thing.  I know when we migrated I was told by someone in Rally, how to search for it, using quotes or something (quotes don't work either, so I figured it has to be something else).

Any clue how I can search this?

Hi Kathy,

Searching on the Plan -> User Stories page isn't too easy. I'd recommend you try either the Custom List app (you can add this app to your dashboard), or the Plan -> Work Views page, where you can create a view for your specific project/s and specify the Work Item Type being 'User Story'.

In either way (Custom List or Work Views) you shall then see if you can find your custom field, then add it to your filters and search this way.
