CA Service Management

    Hi Al Please assist.  We have a Service Desk Manager 14.1 in our environment.  We would like to use it on the mobile app.  We downloaded the Service Manager mobile app on iphone but the app is refusing to log us in.  We are using port 8050 with the URL http://hostname:port.  The app displays "no response from the server.Please contact your administrator"

    Are you certain that port 8050 is accessible from outside your network for iphone users?

    Hi Paul

     

    Thank you for your response.  We will verify if the port is accessible, how do you do that?  In addition to the port, could you please assist us with steps to configure mobility on 14.1.  After service desk installation what must you check or configure to be sure that Service Desk Manager will be accessible on the mobile app.

    To deploy REST, you need to run pdm_configure and ensure the REST web services are deployed, Deploy the REST Mobile Sample User Interface - CA Service Management - 14.1 - CA Technologies Documentation
