  • 1.  Metric for response size

We are interested in the size of the response message. There isn't a default metric for this.

How do we create a metric based on the content-length within the HTML header?

    Or is there another solution?

    Thanks.

    Dear Jochem:

Which agent/extension are you using? What is the web server/appserver?

    Thanks

    Hi Hal,

We are using the EPAgent and looking at the CA API gateway.

    Thanks, for your support.

    Dear Jochem:

Thanks for the clarification. I would cross-post in the API Group as well.I would consider using browser agent which would give this. EP Agent gives basic OS metrics.

Thank you Hallett_German, haven't looked into the Browser Agent yet.
Does the Browser Agent come with APM or is this an additional agent that you need to pay for. Don't want to install something on the network that needs licensing first.

    Hi Jochem,

As far as I know, it is part of APM, enabling BA requires another component called "experience collector"

This page in docops covers the metrics you can obtain using the BrowserAgent

Browser Agent - CA Experience Collector - 2.4 - CA Technologies Documentation
