    Hi,

we have a need to enroll gateways cluster, which are configured with global policies (message received / message completed), to a new portal 4.2.

i know that docops specifically says that no global policies should be configured on the API Gateway, but still wanted to get it clarified here if perhaps there is any workaround for it , and if so what is the risk ?

    thanks,

    Dear neaid01 ,

You can export current global policies, and then enroll the portal, after that, there will be some thing like "custom-message-completed", "custom-message-received" policies generated after the enrollment, you can import your saved global policies into those custom global policies.

thanks. currently the customer has some active global policies. we need first to integrate SV service virtualization tool with the gateway which also created some global policies after integration and then integrate the portal.

i'm a bit concerned that those actions might be a bit risky, but i will test it first in a lab.
