One of the accounts I work on for IBM, is wanting to verify if CA IDMS 18.5 is compatible with z/OS 2.3?

From what I understand, z/os 2.3 does not allow AllowUserKeyCSA(YES)

For idms 19 a work-around is available  - I do not know if the same work-around is available to idms 18.5

I believe that AllowUserKeyCSA(YES) is still allowed in 2.3, but it is the last z/OS release that will allow it.

well – I should have said “solution”

PS to all that have not made this change but feel they need to – if you downloaded the document in 2017 or early 2018, get the newest version of the document – it has changed from older version(s)
