  • 1.  Agent unable to communicate with Application Server

     I found that Agent failed to communicate with Application Server

    Could you let me know what is the impact of the below error or what services will be effected and where can i find the log for this.


    CAUAJM_I_50023 AutoPinging Machine [tigera1]
    CAUAJM_I_50031 Checking the Agent's connectivity to the Application Server.
    CAUAJM_E_50037 ERROR: Agent failed to communicate with Application Server.
    CAUAJM_E_50041 ERROR: Agent returned <ApiExceptionWithInfo, CAUAJM_E_10045 An invalid encryption key was specified.>.
    CAUAJM_E_50281 AutoPing from the Scheduler WAS NOT SUCCESSFUL.

     

    I already checked CASHCOMP variable in environment, CAPKI also installed properly.
    I am facing this issue first time,Autosys  agent is working fine from 2.5 years.

    There is no impact on Autosys jobs all jobs are running fine.

    Hi,

    The issue here is the key that is used by WA Agent.  The key must match on the AutoSys side.  Check the Agent definition on AE and see what type of key it is using (encryption_type).  If you have specified an AES key then use keygen to recreate the new key on Agent side.  

    If you have default, then you can either re-install the agent or copy cryptkey.txt from another Agent (which should also have encryption set as default key in AE).
