    I want to know how to connect and use an external MySQL database in Portal.

    Hi 

     

    Did you see the following section in the documentation 

    Install and Configure CA API Developer Portal (Software) - CA API Developer Portal 3.5 - CA Technologies Documentation 

     

    When you run step 1 it will ask where to install the database

    Unfortunately, The version of Portal Appliance does not have setup.sh, so I can not go in the way you told me.

    Hello JongHun Jeong ,

    Portal appliance is delivered with database, I don't think there is official way to setup external mysql database.

    But, if you have mysql ndb cluster, you may refer to the document below,
