In CA service desk holding up the MDB database,as DB size is getting increased not_log,ACT_Log are not getting deleted and need advice related to it.
Sohail, you would need to archive/purge those tables. Did you mean your archive/purge on those tables(not_log can be archived/purged by it self and act_log should be removed when you archive/purge tickets) didn't work? Thx _Chi
Could you confirm if you are asking if the notification log and activity logs are deleted by themselves once the associated case is closed? The short answer is that Service Desk usually retains all data associated to a given ticket with very little auto-deleted once the ticket is finished out. As Chi had stated, you would need to archive/purge any content that is no longer needed.
Many Thanks Chi & David for the reply and Can i know the command for archiving/purging so I will have a check related to it.

I'd add also the "session_log" table to the suggestions above, as it is one that can get very large and is one that many people miss.
