shutting down more than 1 cybagent on a box?

    Hello Forum,  we are migrating one application off of ESP edition to dSeries, but have plenty of activity for each.

    During the migration we have a licensed esp-based cybAgent running on unix server xyz and there is also a dseries-based cybAgent in another directory etc running as well.

    Over the weekend we had issues with agents inexplicably shutting down ,logs are being sent to CA but to my eye there's no smoking gun as to crashes.

    The command to stop a cybAgent  I believe is the same for both an esp-cybAgent and a dseries cybAgent

    cybAgent.bin -s

     

    Do you know if, say issuing a cybAgent.bin -s  could impact either of the running cybAgents?

    (I'm thinking someone issued a stop for one and the other was victimized)

    I have servers with multiple agents installed in different directories.

     

    cybAgent.bin -s will shutdown the agent for the agent for the current agent directory.

     

    Check log file runner_os_component to display when shutdown request was received and confirm if it was done on the correct agent:

    12/18/2018 14:43:04.554-0500: Receiver: exiting on SHUTDOWN request
