Hello everyone,

I've one question...

I've necessity to perform a patching of a multiple OS types.

In the marketplace aren't present any pack to update the unix environment while, for windows environment, are present only one pack for the update (Windows Update) but it don't work properly (I've tried the pack with "win server 2016").

Has anyone ever patched the operating systems with one existing action pack or is necessary create it (for each os type)?

We use Automic to get the list of servers in an environment from our Redhat management servers and then pass that on to Ansible which patches all our redhat linux servers.  It seems pretty reliable.

thanks for reply.

I think that is not a good solution, because with Automic I can simply patch one unix system with the correct update command.

I wondered if there are already some ActionPack usable to perform patch (update) request to different OSs (unix and windows).
