    Hi,

I cannot catch if it could be possible to use DB2 database but non automatically?

Does this feature of vTDM that enable storing only dif in a clone works with DB2 or not?

When I red that only MS SQL and Oracle are supported in and automatic way of connecting clones to a database I welcomed that oher RDBMS are also supported but on non automatic way of connecting to the database....

    I hope I am clear.....

    Hi,

Your correct vTDM auto attach only works with MS SQL and Oracle. When creating a manual checkpoint any file type can be used and the clone will be accessible via NFS / SMB connections. If a DB2 database can be mounted over NFS / SMB then in theory this would work but i have never tried it.

       Hope this helps
