Does Manual Portfolio Sync job triggers all the scheduled portfolio sync jobs?

    Hi all,

     

    I have a question regarding portfolio sync job. i have 30 portfolio sync scheduled jobs for 30 portfolios, i have selected 1 portfolio and manually ran sync now i.e.. sync job and navigated to jobs logs and i could see 1 portfolio sync job is in processing and rest 29 jobs are in waiting state.

     

    my question is - if we run sync job manually does it trigger all the sync scheduled job or sync will run only for one portfolio that we have seleected?

     

    we are in 15.2 CA PPM version.

    Hello Suresh,

     

    When you manually sync a portfolio it does not trigger all the scheduled ones to run.

    It does create a job in Reports and Jobs and while the manual one is syncing the rest of the scheduled ones will turn to Waiting status until the manual job is done.  Once it is done, the scheduled jobs should go back to scheduled status.
