We have oracle, MSSQL, DB2 & MySQL database to monitor. Almost all database have passive database in DR location, these active-passive/DC-DR are in sync.
Now we are monitoring Active database and it is working fine, passive/DR database can not be connected.
Anyone have idea that, how can we switch database monitoring automatically in above case?
For some databases we can connect both of the databases & monitoring is configured for both, in this case we are getting duplicate alarm ( one from active database & one is from passive/DR).
e.g. DB status differed, GAP_RECEIVED, etc
How can we configure database monitoring in such cases where we don't want to miss alarms from passive database events while monitoring Active database monitoring.
Please suggest.
