  • 1.  Monitor sub-mounted disks in Linux

    Hello,

We have some machines with multiple disks that are mounted under the same root directory.

    For example:

      /mounts

      /mounts/mount1

      /mounts/mount2

      ...

      /mounts/mount8

Due to the fact that these disks are mounted under a root directory (/mounts), they will not be detected by CDM, while configuring the Default Disk(s) profile.

How can I add some specific monitoring (disk space QOS and alarm) for these mounted disks?

    Thanks

So I figured out part of the answer...

Checking the CDM configuration directly on the robot, I found out that all the disks were discovered.

However those "sub-mounted" disks were not active.

Is there a reason why "Default Disks" profile is enabling some disks but not others?

Do I have to explicitly create a new disk under "Default Disks" to be able to activate those volumes?

Not an exact match but this tech doc may have some helpful info:
