How we can add custom values to the state field for Idea object/page?

    Hi All,

     

    I am trying to add a custom value for the Status field on the Idea object.

     

    When i go to the objects->Idea->Attributes->Status-> This is refeering to the lookup - Investment Object State.

     

    When I open this lookup I couldn't see New button to create custom values, as this is system restricted.

     

    Could anyone help me how we can do this?

     

    I have seen other lookup - Idea Status Types (Description: Status used for Idea Properties Page and Filter Page), i tried adding custom value here, but this is not reflecting in the Idea state field.

     

    Any help is appreciated.

    This is a system restricted field, so new values are not able to be added.

     

    To reflect a different Status to support your business process, Work Status is commonly used. This can have values added, deactivated, or names changed.
