  • 1.  How to fix/renew expired TIM Certs

    Posted Jan 31, 2019 05:50 PM

We had a security audit which found all of my TIM's certs expired. Need to know how I can updated them. The new certs have to be my employer issued certs.

Here is what the Nessus scan showed:

The SSL certificate has already expired :

    Subject : C=--, ST=SomeState, L=SomeCity, O=SomeOrganization, OU=SomeOrganizationalUnit, CN=txanunxlapmp005.us.baesystems.com, emailAddress=root@xxxxxxxxxxx.us.baesystems.com
    Issuer : C=--, ST=SomeState, L=SomeCity, O=SomeOrganization, OU=SomeOrganizationalUnit, CN=xxxxxxxxxxxxxx.us.baesystems.com, emailAddress=root@xxxxxxxx.us.baesystems.com
    Not valid before : May 14 03:44:01 2015 GMT
    Not valid after : May 13 03:44:01 2016 GMT

Thanks in advance for any/all assistance.

    Cheers

    Manish

    Dear Manish:
See my post in the enhancement. If this is the application webserver private key that is the Admin responsibility . If you have a webserver farm, then many certs can expire at the same time. I previously posted a blog on TIM/MTP Admin responsibilities and this should be one of them. This would happen on a webserver whether monitored by CEM or not.

    Hope this helps
