  • 1.  How to customize Jasper Reports

    Hello everyone,

     

    Can anyone please guide me how can i customize Jasper reports. 

    We can get detailed report from CABI but now I can't do that in Jasper Reports.

     

    for example

     

    we need to get all the below mention reports.  

     

    Ageing report
    Time duration
    Group Information
    Active/Inactive
    Total Closed/Active/Closed Tickets
    Teamwise Service Desk Process Compliance Report
    Teamwise Service Desk SLA Violation Report
    Service Desk Tickets Trends
    Service Desk Groups and Members Report

    Hi Ahmer,

     

    The best way to start is to open an existing out of the box Jasper report with Jasper Studio, and take a look at how the report is built to give you an idea. You can even save the out of the box report with a different name, and then customize it to add or remove what you want from it.   In addition to that, there is a ton of documentation and information on the Jasper community site which you can find here: Documentation | Jaspersoft Community

    Dear Maheshwar, 

     

    Thanks for your reply, but I am absolutely beginner on this, can you atleast guide me how can I extract 1 year tickets of both Incident and Request of specific group with the details on their status like Hold or Closes tickets?
