  • 1.  RATE Matrix Issue - Cost Plan / Budget Plan updates

    We are having an issue with Budget Plans. We had an incorrect rate in the Rate Matrix when a number of Budget Plans were created and are wondering if there is a way to update all of the budget plan calculations (Hours * Rate) where the rate was incorrect. There are a number of plans that would need to be updated and we are hoping for a way to make these without creating new plans. We also have the same problem on Cost Plans when we post Actuals to the Cost Plan at a specific rate and the incorrect rate is there, we would liekt o see if we can update them automatically.

    As regards your cost Plans, you can repopulate these to pick up the correct rated, however when it come to the Budget plan, you would have to create new ones that supersede the older one with wrong rates.

    And specifically, when you submit the Cost Plan make sure you select "Replace". If you select "Merge", you will literally merge the lines of the newly submitted Cost Plan with the lines in the existing Budget Plan.
