Does the Project Team member get inherit access rights to view the project pages?

We have removed the project view instance access rights and would like to know if the team member gets the rights automatically by the system as the resource is added to the team tab

A project TEAM member will automatically become a PARTICIPANT of the project, and that gives the access to view the project in the system (just the project main details though, not necessarily the plan and other details unless they also have other rights).

(it used to be that if you removed the resource from the TEAM, then the PARTICIPANT access remained - not sure if that is still the case)

In our instance, we have configured only hard booked resources are added to the participant.  We have team members with soft booked also.  So not all team members are added to the participant.

Good point that, removing team member will not remove from the participant
