  • 1.  Push notification in CA Strong Authentication

    Hello  -

For configuring Push Notification in Strong Auth, I understand that we have to provide a FCM server key in the PushProvider.properties file. I have 2 questions on this :

    1. When Push is implemented, is there a way that we can check the status of the Push Notification through Firebase console? Through the AFM logs, I can determine if the Push Notification was sent , but I do not know if it was delivered to the device. Getting visibility into the status helps t-shooting end user issues with Push Notification.

    2. I would like to pass certain user/location related information through the Push message to provide additional assurance on the transaction. An example would be to pass the city name based on the resolution of IP address during the risk evaluation process.

    Thanks!

    Hi Nataraj,

If you are still looking for this information then the answer to both questions is no. The account for firebase is a CA Account so you cannot use it.

    Thanks
