CA Identity Manager is opening lot of INACTIVE database connections

    Hi All,

     

    We are facing an issue in our environment where Identity Manager is opening lot of Inactive connections (1000+) with database. Is anyone facing similar issue in their environment and also is there any way to understand why the IM has not closed those many database connections.

     

    We could not able to understand which process is opening this huge connections in CA Identity Manager. So please let us know if anyone has any sugestions

    It is my understanding JDBC has connection pools that leave open the pools until stale or closed.  this could be causing all these DB connections.  Review your timeout settings.  Thank you.
