As part of our ongoing mission to create useful products, the Artificial Intelligence User Experience (AIUX) team is conducting a brief survey on awareness of AI among CA Technologies customers.

I wonder how long will it take for us to see AI operatiing in a z/OS+CICS production environment. 

IBM already applies machine learning on data gathered from z/OS environments, so I can't imagine something more powerful than just an algorithm (or multiple algorithms) would be impossible to do. I don't know how soon we'd see it, though.

It's certainly an interesting question to explore, though. The AIUX team is working on an "intake process" that involves customers and CA employees with ideas for machine learning and AI, so we can determine what the needs truly are, and whether something like machine learning or AI is a good fit.
