Our client's CA API gateway has incoming requests waiting forever without passing to back end services. Please suggest steps to collect information, such as logs for further troubleshooting?
Services were returned to normal after restarting the gateway. Seems that this is a gateway issue.

Does this happen for all API's or only a particular one? If you setup a very basic policy, a return template response, does it still hang? what about the same with a route to a different server, say google.com?
I would like to determine if this is a front end connection issues, policy processing issue, or connection issue to the backend (ie: can the Gateway curl to the backend server from the Gateway command line?). Do other clients have any issue in consuming this API?
