Network switch need to configure in SNMP collector without any template in CA UIM So we can manage the all parameter individually ( like device having  multiple memory  in that case we can select only few memory for monitoring ).

Create some filters in template to exclude the components you don't want to monitor ?

Yes. Need to exclude the device from template application. One simple way is using device filter rule.

The template filter needs to be at the top level so the whole profile is excluded. Can't check since my lab is down, but isn't there a user tag that can be set in the profile, which then the template can filter to exclude any profile with it.

Setting a filter at the memory level in the resource tree will result in the template being applied to everything other than memory.
