  • 1.  When viewing a BOX via quick view why are it's jobs listed alphabetically instead of in the order that they run?

    In Autosys 11.3 viewing a box under the WCC Quick View option displays it's jobs in alphabetical order, instead of run order.

    This isn't intuitive and often leads to confusion.   I'm sure that older versions of WCC used to display the jobs in run order.

     

    Could this be customisable?

    The reason for this is the assignment is based on the joid (job id) number and the what was inserted first into the database instance.  It would be nice if it would line up based on dependency order or alphabetically.  Some kind of sort.

    everything including the autorep is by JOID. this has been this way forever, and why adding to a box should be a delete and insert of the whole stream so that you have consecutive numbers. :-)

    I'm sorry, but that can't be true. 

     

    If I run autorep -J sit04-test_batch_status_boxes_master_ns_b -l1 on Enterprise Command line, then I got the following result. 

     

    sit04-test_batch_status_boxes_master_ns_b                        19/03/2019 13:40:00  19/03/2019 13:40:16  SU    2993862/1 0     
     sit04-test_batch_status_box_number_one_ns_b                     19/03/2019 13:40:01  19/03/2019 13:40:05  SU    2993862/1 0     
     sit04-test_batch_status_box_number_two_ns_b                     19/03/2019 13:40:06  19/03/2019 13:40:10  SU    2993862/1 0     
     sit04-test_batch_status_box_number_three_ns_b                   19/03/2019 13:40:11  19/03/2019 13:40:15  SU    2993862/1 0     

     

    If I view the same master box on the Quick View tab then they are displayed

     

    The command line is showing the jobs in the insert order, the quick view is alphabetical.
