  • 1.  Create dual snmp check in CA Spectrum

    Hi Team,

     

    Can anyone help me in creating a dual snmp check on the device from spectro server, since have not done it till now and have no idea on how will that impact.

    Do you mean having Spectrum poll (SNMP) the device twice in case it does not respond to the first one?

    In this case, we already do that with DCM Retry and DCM Timeout.

     

    Timeout is how long we wait for a response, and retry is how many times we will retry the request before triggering a device as down or not available.

    You can increase these values for devices that have higher latency.

     

    Max value for DCM Timeout is 60000.

     

    If you mean something else, please provide some further details.
