Help needed - Configuration of jdbc_response probe!

Hi,

Trying to configure jdbc_response probe here, but getting error message when testing connection configuration:

"Could not connect to jdbc:... Caught exception loading driver for connection test... The Network adapter could not establish connection".

I assume there is something not right in connection config. Followed the instructions for Oracle DB from docops probe page for creating connection.

• Oracle
  jdbc:oracle:thin:@IP address:Port Number/Database Name
• Driver Name: specifies the java class name of the JDBC driver. Examples:
  • oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver

I had this issue a while ago. I don't believe that the current probe works well with version 12 of Oracle. I wound up taking the newest Oracle client I could find and replacing the client in the probe with that.

Issue fixed - it was bad DB ip address.

Indeed, it appeared to be in a cluster.
