    Hi All,

I am trying to understand about the proxy polling concept in CA Spectrum. I have a scenario below and I am looking for a recommendation on the basis of the past approaches done by people who have used CA Spectrum.

Device A(1.1.1.1) has been modeled in Landscape 1. Now if somebody again tries to remodel the same device in Landscape2 , is their a possibility that CA Spectrum might be aware that this is already modeled and should be modeled as proxy and prompted to the end user , who is trying to model the model the device again.

Here I am considering that the end user is always doing mistake and modeling the device again and again as regular model instead of proxy modelling.

    Thanks in Advance,

    AK

    Hi AK,

You have to manually designate a Model as a Proxy Model.

This section of CA Spectrum guide covers this subject:

Configure Cross-Landscape Fault Correlation - CA Spectrum - 10.3.1 - CA Technologies Documentation

    Thanks,

    Silvio
