    Hi Osborne,

The Maintenance Indicators only set shaded areas in reports to indicate the maintenance time frame.

Schedule Maintenance Indicators - CA Performance Management - 3.6 - CA Technologies Documentation

To halt Threshold Event processing and evaluation for select devices during maintenance periods you'll want to set their Life Cycle State to Maintenance.

Manage Device Life Cycles - CA Performance Management - 3.6 - CA Technologies Documentation

No Events for the device should also result in no Notifications as well.

    Does that answer your questions?

    Thanks,

    Michael
