  • 1.  Sending Field Values from Spectrum to SDM Incidents

    SDM 14.1.05 and Spectrum 10.3.0.  The integration is up and running and we are able to open and close incidents using SDM templates linked through a policy. However, we would prefer to have Spectrum feed the Incident area instead of predefining in the template. The incident creation fails as it is not passing the required category info defined which we have defined in Spectrum. If I supply all required fields in the tempalte it works. This is what we have in service-desk-asset-mapping.xml

    <mapping>
          <sd-attribute>category</sd-attribute>
          <model-attribute>0x5f8000f</model-attribute>
        </mapping>

    We've tried several options to define the category including pcat:12345 and by name - Servers.Windows.

    We are also unable to populate any other Incident fields including Group and Urgency.

    CI, Summary, and Description are being passed successully.

    What are we misssing?

    Thanks

    Jeff

    If you have not already done so, I would suggest opening a Support Case with the Spectrum team initially.  They can then engage with a SDM engineer as required.

    Support has confirmed that this functionality is not availbale and we will have to create templates on the SDM side for each and every variation of a spectrum alarm.

    Thanks for the reply Paul.
