Do we need to reinstall AutoSys Remote Client if the client is having a machine name change?

  • 1.  Do we need to reinstall AutoSys Remote Client if the client is having a machine name change?

    We have a remote client sitting on machine X but recently there is a need for machine X to be renamed to machine Y. For AutoSys event server to continue to schedule and execute jobs on the AutoSys Remote Client (previously known as machine X but now machine Y), do I need to reinstall AutoSys Remote Client after the machine being renamed?

     

    Our Event Server host is 

    SOLAR SYB 4.5 1 84fac7e1 autosysld1prd

     

    AutoSys Remote Client is

    Windows_NT SYB 4.5 1 0 machine X

     

    Also, we have Unicenter Job Management Adapter for SAP running on this client (Machine X) version 3.2.0.11. We need to make sure our Sap jobs execute properly after we rename machine X to machine Y.
