Has anyone successfully enabled Single Sign-on (SSO) using Kerberos authentication?  Our IT department is eliminating manual user logins.  This is being replaced with "Smart" badges utilizing a chip on the badge similar to the credit card chip.  A user's badge must be inserted into a computer/laptop in order to log in.  Going forward users will not manually login or even know their passwords.  Passwords will automatically get changed/reprogrammed without the user's knowledge.  This means users will not be able to manually log into DevTest Workstation, Portal, or any other software.

    Hello

Kerberos authentication feature is part of upcoming 10.5 release.

Sankar, thanks for the reply.  After a search I see that Kerberos might also be included in 10.3?  Here is the reference: https://docops.ca.com/devtest-solutions/10-3/en/administering/security/using-kerberos-authentication

Does this work in 10.3 as described or must we wait for 10.5?

    Hello

The link that you have shared is about Kerberos support from a Test step and not about Kerberos authentication for Devtest application itself.

Sankar, ok, thank you.  Wow, reading the link is really misleading as it says ...devtest-solutions -> administering -> security -> using-Kerberos-authentication.  ...Guess we need to wait for Devtest 10.5, thanks again.  What about SAML?  Is that an option?

SAML option is available for Application Test, Web Service Execution XML-->Security tab in current versions of DevTest.
