Clarity

Hi there,

I'm new user of CA PPM, so please be patient with me  if I ask basic questions.

I just got SAS Enterprise Guide installed and I need to connect to CA PPM database. I currently can access the database using Squirrel SQL and Power BI

From what I understood:

1) We have a local server for power BI that accesses the database.

2) Squirrel connects to a cloud based database.

I would need SAS to access this two levels of data because for some reason the way the data is structured is different for both. There's information I can find with Power BI that I cant find with Squirrel.

Any ideas how I can connect SAS to CA PPM?

Congratulation and welcome to Clarity. Generally we don't provide direct access to database for production however for Dev and Test you can request access via support case.

You will be provided a VPN and a Database credentials and you need to login to vpn and then connect to database.
