  • 1.  Recover deleted Files from Document Manager

    Hi,

     

    is there any way to recover a deleted file from Document Manager? (In PPM 15.1)

    Or is this even possible in 15.6?

    I remember looking at that in v13. Once the document is deleted in the GUI the db information was gone as well. It was not possible to recover that without a backup.

    I do not think that is likely to have changed.

    and what about if you can recover this crypted file from a file system backup?

    Can you place this in the file_store folder and make it available in PPM GUI again? (Maybe with manipulation of DB?)

    That could be risky, below are the tables which are used to save the metadata of file structure to map to clarity UI and assuming the files were not stored in database but file store.
