    Hi all,

We are currently experiencing a major heap usage issues with the java 7.2 agent. We started doing heap dump analysis on one of our JVM;s and noticed that the wily java agent and protocal adapter was at the top of the heap usage list. We then noticed that in the collection there were a lot of jmx references. We are reducing the number of jmx metrics which came out of the box with the weblogic agent but was wondering if anyone knows of issues in regards to this. We currently have the version 7.2 agent. We ahve this because if we upgrade to 8.2 the agent starts missing metrics (most likely due to the amount of metrics collected). Has anyone seen this or have any suggestion on working with jmx metrics.

    Thanks,

    Andy

    Hey Andy (LTNS),
Where you able to resolve this, or did you end up working with support?
My guess is there may be an issue with the JRockit JRE. Did you ever try switching to Sun JRE? Oracle does recommend for HA or high volume environments to use the Sun JRE.

What does your metric counts look like? Are you agents clamping? Are you filtering your JMX metrics? Did you try the 8.2.3 agent?
