Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone had any basic examples of security joins. I found in the developers_guide the syntax of it but when I was testing it out, it gave me an error. example - @WHERE:SECURITY:PROJECT:SRM.PROJECTS.ID@

Testquery:
SELECT @SELECT:DIM:USER_DEF:IMPLIED:RESOURCE:R.LAST_NAME:RSRC@
FROM SRM_RESOURCES R
WHERE R.ID = @WHERE:SECURITY:RESOURCE:SRM.RESOURCES.ID@
AND @FILTER@

Error:
NPT-0103: Error when trying to execute the query. Native message: [CA Clarity][SQLServer JDBC Driver][SQLServer]Incorrect syntax near '='. SQL Text: SELECT R.LAST_NAME RSRC FROM SRM_RESOURCES R WHERE R.ID = 1 = 1 AND 1=? and 1=1 .

Can anyone elaborate a bit on security joining? We are under the impression that it will allow you to deploy a portlet to the general and based on whoever is running the portlet, there will be limitations on the results in the portlet is that correct? We would be attempting to display but limit rate information based on this portlet. Thanks everyone.
