I have seen some documentation in the past that described a scenario where a single physical application server can be configured to have 2 Java Virtual Machines running at the same time. Each app service has its' own chunk of memory (1GB out of 4GB total) and can be bound to a single CPU (2 CPU's total). Aside from fault tolerance (meaning 1 app service crashing or hanging won't impact the other app service), are there any other advantages? (Performance ?)
