I created 2 exchange rate for JPY to USD currency conversion

    1. Effective Date 06/01/2008 End Date 12/31/2009

    2. Effective Date 01/01/2010

    End Date null

Now when I copy cost plan which has entries in the year 2009, the cost plan does not save and the following error is displayed "REVMGR-5002:Exchange rate not found for billing currency.". The same error is displayed if we try to update the 2009 or earlier cost plans with new values. If I copy the cost plan which has data from 2010 onwards, it does work. If I create cost plans where start period is 2010, It does work.

I performed below 2 steps, just to debug the error.

If I remove the 2010 currency record i.e #2 and udpate the end date as null for the #1, I am able to save the costplan for 2009 as well.

If I keep 2 records as below (same effective date), I am able to save the cost plan

    1. Effective Date 06/01/2008 End Date 12/31/2009

    2. Effective Date 06/01/2008

    End Date null

I tested all the scenarios and came to conclusion whenever there is multiple exchange rates, then we cannot update cost plan which has data for the period priod to the latest exchange rate effective Date. Is my observation correct OR this is bug in clarity.

    Thanx
    Satish
