New key features available in CA DLP r14 published by Andrew Devine, Snr. Support Engineer for 4 October 2011

CA is proud to announce that CA DLP r14 has been released for general availability. The following is a list of some key features new to the r14 release.

CA Business Intelligence Reporting

The integration of a Business Objects-based reporting interface to CA DLP that allows our customers to rapidly develop custom reports, searches, homepage portlets & dashboard reports using fully supported BOXI interfaces. These can help reduce the time & support overhead for custom reports & increase the value of policy violation information captured by CA DLP.

Universal Indexed Searching

The integration of Autonomy’s IDOL Server providing enhanced free-text search capabilities throughout the archive of captured events including advanced search operations and results relevancy.

Customizable iConsole Homepage

A highly-customizable Homepage where portlets of relevant data can be configured to individual requirements.

CA DLP Content Classification Service

This is a web-service that leverages CA DLPs sophisticated content classification of structured and unstructured information so it can be utilized by other solutions. The first of these will be CA SiteMinder where SharePoint 2010 agent users can extend data access entitlements down to the information layer. This will be available in the forthcoming r12.5 release of CA SiteMinder
