Chris,
We're running a weekly print space. No acceleration tools, just straight
up BCF. It bombs in various different areas. There's no rhym nor reason
to it. The weekly job can bomb, then I can submit a print space the next
day and it'll run fine.
Having looked again, I'm thinking it might have something to do with the
weekly job having DD statements for the areas and me using none.
Shouldn't make a difference, but you never know. Especially since it's
not always the same areas.

Hello all,
Can anyone explain to me why intermittently a BCF Print Space abends
with a 3003? Sometimes it runs fine, sometimes not. There doesn't seem
to be any pattern that I can discern.
is this running against the SAME areas with the SAME software when it
sometimes abends and sometimes works?
are you using any acceleration tools like QSAM ? Prefetch? FastAccess?
Megabuf/Seq?
I must admit in 13 years of running printspace (and the 10.2 equivalent
before that) I have never had a intermittent problem with vanilla
printspace with nothing changing between the runs ...
