CPU Effectiveness

Hi,

Now that we have updated our Production system to 16.0 SP1 + apars on
z/OS 1.4 and it has the nifty DCMT D SUBTASK EFFECTIVENESS command, what
is a good value for this at the end of the day? Currently we are at 77%
after 5 hours and slowly going up.

Thanks

I was looking at the 16.0 SP1 System Tasks and Operator commands manual
about DCMT D SUBTASK in section 3.53. The DCMT D SUBTASK subtasknum
gives lots of information but the manual does not describe all the
output. It would be nice to know what all of the line mean and which
ones can be tuned to improve performance. Is this changed for SP2?

Thanks

Chris
