Re: [IDMSVENDOR-L] ADSA/OLH Issue

Discussion created by ca.portal.admin on Jun 2, 2005
how bout -- instead of changing the repsonse, which would affect everyone,
add a new response with a link as the verb, and then alter the logic for
just this specific process that needs the OLH ?

Can't you just define another response/function that uses Link? When
you use an ADSO link ADSA will still think you are in the calling
dialog and keep that set of valid responses. That can lead to
erroneous navigation and as they say in TV Guide, hilarity will
ensue.

Re: ADSA/OLH Issue
"Thanks Gary.

Unfortunately, the response is already defined with a transfer and changing
to link would cause too many problems. This is a specific need to link to
the dialog because they want to have an extended rununit consisting of both
dialogs. All other access to this dialog is done the normal way with ENF.
No way to keep this under ADSA that I can see and unfortunately, OLH uses
the global record to determine which help to display. I was just hoping
there was a way to fake out OLH.

As always, I appreciate your assistance.

Linda
