Could you WLM specs changed at the time of the upgrade?

Hi,

We went to z/OS 1.6 on the weekend from 1.4. Since we upgraded to 16.0
SP1 + apars in mid May we have recorded the CPU Effectiveness close to
our end of online business day. We had lows of 78% to a high of 81%
under z/OS 1.4 for the 3 weeks under this environment. Now after 3
full
days of z/OS 1.6 we have hit 75%, 76% and 76%.

This is still early days but hopefully it does not become a trend.
This
could be something to look out when upgrading to z/OS 1.6.

Re: Java/Websphere/CICS/IDMS transaction
"Sounds like you need to do some more research, but I think a common user id
is just asking for trouble. It pretty much negates the USERCHK=YES
safeguard.

I don't know how the UCF line driver ties transactions to LTERMS - I would
check with Tech Support about that.
