Re: [IDMSVENDOR-L] SMP/E question

Discussion created by ca.portal.admin on Feb 1, 2006
What is the syntax to get a list of PTFs/APARs applied to a load module?

well .... SMP/E does not maintain a direct SYSMOD to LMOD xref, so we
must

look for other ways ...

1) run AMBLIST on the requested load module as follows:

//AMBLIST EXEC PGM=AMBLIST

//SYSLIB DD DISP=SHR,DSN=your idms loadlib

//SYSPRINT DD SYSOUT=X

//SYSPRINT DD DSN=CMH5342.OUTPUT.B,DISP=SHR

//SYSOUT DD SYSOUT=X

//SYSIN DD *

LISTLOAD OUTPUT=XREF,MEMBER=loadmodule

or run IEHLIST on the loadlib to get all load modules, then run AMBLIST

against all load modules in the loadlib

the results look something like:

*****LOAD MODULE PROCESSED EITHER BY VS LINKAGE EDITOR OR BINDER

LISTIDR FOR LOAD MODULE IDMSDBIO PAGE

CSECT YR/DAY SPZAP DATA

2) list all MODs for all APARS/USERMODS, then list all LMODS for all the

seletec MODS

if anyone is interested, I have jobs for both approaches

Update on Sorted chained set versus sorted index set
"Hello All:

Just an update, by changing our data base set to a sorted user owned index
